That is interesting information, oldbroad. I am going to copy and paste the info here: There are also Conversation Choices at times to make, and the feature I loved the best, was that my decisions actually matter. By this I mean, if I choose the wrong decision, it's GAME OVER! Yep, you must make life or death decisions, so choose wisely! You may not even notice that as you progress, there will be save points, which are automatic, and if you make the wrong decision, you will start back at the last saved position before the incident, how cool is that!!

People who don't like this must never have played old style adventure games, in which dying was part of the game. And for the most part they did not have automatic saves. The smart thing to do was save before taking any action.

I played plenty of them back in the day, Guybrush. It's all we had. Doesn't mean I liked that part then, and I still don't now.

What I dont like is the demo timed out just as I was opening the jewel box and when I got back in after buying the game it hadn't saved where I was. I had to start over.

I tried the Demo and somewhat enjoyed the game, although it is somewhat Old school, it is different and somewhat like a mini-adventure game, another game on the BOGO list.
And yes, the Map system does not tell you if there is something to do, and when using the Hint system will cost you a Hint point, if you find a Cross you will get one back, this is not too bad but if you use it in the HO screens you will also use a Hint point for every object you want to find.
As already mentioned before, you can die and brought back to a restore point, I died once during the demo so I don't know how often one can die.
