I want to know if there is a way to play this game with Windows 10. I love this game and would be heart broken if I can't play it ;(

Tsavorite, I installed and play this game on windows 10 last year with no problems. I played disc 2. I still have the game installed.

It works for me too, but your question implies that it doesn't for you. Have you encountered any problems?

Are you running 64 bit Win 10? I couldn't even get it to install the Quicktime 3.0. The installer is a 16 bit program.

My Blackstone Chronicles does run on Windows 10 64-bit
although not as it used to.
When using the arrow to move around or
to perform actions the images seem to run frame
by frame.
Sometimes the game seems to freeze, but that can
be solved by pushing the windows start button,once,
on the keyboard, and than return to the game.

I used windows XP service pack 3 mode

That's the same experience I had when trying to run the game on Windows 7.

I couldn't get mine to run on Windows 7.

I think it's unlikely that we will ever see the game on Steam or GOG. I wrote to Bob Bates, founder of Legend Entertainment, a few months ago. He wrote back and told me that Atari has the rights to many of the Legend games and won't give them up. Plus, with Blackstone Chronicles, he would also have to get John Saul's permission as well, I believe. So, it sounds like nothing short of a miracle would allow us to see this game as a digital download.

The reply kazzmo gives is interesting because
he mentions having had an online upgrade
of his Windows 8 to 10.
I have had an online upgrade of my windows 7-64bit
to windows 10-64 bit.
That might make a difference
