Not sure if you can help me on this, I found driver update on my machine and I dont know if its a PUP
or not. Its location is Driver Update location e_gupa30(c:\windows\system32\spool\drivers\x64\3
Is this a Pup or is it supposed to be there. I cant find any links to uninstall it,not even in
control panel

There is also rogue software called Driver Update. A friend recently downloaded it and it caused quite a lot of havoc for her. However, if that's it, it seems odd it would be in that location. She was able to just uninstall it normally. A scan with Malwarebytes also picked it up for her.

Hopefully, it is a part of your Epson printer software as Jenny suggests.

Found out it is a sort of pup spying on my printer in case I have installed epson compatable cartridges,
It will even go through windows firewall.

The thing I am trying to turn "off" printer driver update, and yes it is a pup
I need to find in all the software which element actually does the "updating"
