I would suggest that you just follow the walkthrough, as it doesn't look like there are any shortcuts for this puzzle.

You probably just need to have a saved game before you start the puzzle - then you can reload if you want to start the puzzle over from the beginning.

If you can save after the planet puzzle that you did successfully, that's what I would do. Then you can work on the next section.

I believe the walkthrough explains the zodiac puzzle well:

Quote:
With the test sheets open in the diary, work on the right column set of test on the right page.

The object of the puzzle is to match the symbols to the name of the zodiac.

The sun icon at the bottom scrolls the name of the zodiac.

The 2 crescent moons icon moves the bottom zodiac one to up position.

Study the sequence of the names of the zodiac and see which one is out of order. The symbols are in order.

The correct sequence is: Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius and Pisces.

Check from top down which one is the next sign that is not in correct position below Aries.

Use the sun icon to move the next misplaced zodiac to the bottom-lowest position. The next one that is off is Taurus.

Use the 2 moons to flip the position of Taurus to be one up. Lower it the bottom position again using the sun icon and then one up again. Do this until Taurus is below Aries.

Then work on Gemini. Continue on until they are arranged in order.

The correct zodiac name is lighter in color than the rest.

Once correctly done, the puzzle can not be moved anymore.

I don't know more than what the walkthrough provides. But you could also check out the YouTube video walkthrough here. Just look through the videos until you find where you are in the game, and good luck! smile

You would need to find the game folder on your hard drive. It could be under the game name, or it could be in a folder called Kheops (the company who made the game). I really don't know. If you used the default installation, try looking for something under ProgramFiles X86, for starters.

Double-click on the Microids file and see if the Nostradamus game folder is in there. If you are able to locate it, then download the saved game which is in a zip file. Then double-click the zip file and there will be an option on the top of the screen that says "extract to." There will be a box where you can say where you want the files to go, and point it to the Nostradamus folder (assuming you found one). The files will then be in the game folder and when you load up the game, the save should be there.

I have no idea why a Starforce copy protection message would be popping up - that message refers to copy protection for your CD. What I would suggest you do is to go over and post about this in Glitches, because I am now confused as well. They can give you instructions again about downloading a saved game as well as figuring out why you are getting that message.
