I've been playing various Wolfenstein games for years. Great, mindless fun!

Yeah, The way they take advantage of all the wild nazi conspiracy theories and BJ Blazkowicz the kind of stereotypical hero that makes it that much more fun. The writing is actually pretty darn good. I think the scene in the asylum/hospital from New Order where you're seeing time pass through the eyes of the infirm Blazkowicz is one of the best done in any game.

That reminds me, I still have to finish that game. Blaskowitcz has to slide around under fire jets and kill the Big Bad. I got bored. Maybe time to turn it down to Easy and finish it.
Playing Blaskowicz really is role-playing for me. He's the kind of guy I detest in real life. Though it's oddly easy to slip into the role. Maybe all of us have a Blaskowicz lurking inside.

The first time I played Return to Castle Wolfenstein I thought I had the game licked and then the first Supersoldier showed up. All of a sudden Blaskowicz seeemed so puny and helpless.
