It's not only safe, it's arguably the best site out there for downloading games that have been tweaked for modern systems and are free of any kind of DRM.
So, have you considered just tell Norton to ignore this game/file and PLEASE install it for you? Lots of people have had to do that with other games it doesn't like.

It's not only safe, it's arguably the best site out there for downloading games that have been tweaked for modern systems and are free of any kind of DRM. Thanks for letting me know! So, have you considered just tell Norton to ignore this game/file and PLEASE install it for you? Lots of people have had to do that with other games it doesn't like. Norton had gone "rogue," when it just removed the file without even asking. So I don't think it would pay any attention to my "requests" (pleading? LOL) So, like Marian, I guess I am going to put in on my own to-play-in-the-future list. I do have several such games "waiting" on the shelf, but I have played all the HO games. So right now I am waiting for the Big Fish's "delicious" 65%-off deals to get some more HO games. Funny thing is they did recently have just such a deal, and after a rather long time too, and on my very birthday! But I was too darn busy that day to avail it... :( Oh, well. It's the thought that counts, right? Even though they had no clue it *was* my birthday.

No, if you TELL Norton in the "exceptions" option to ignore this game, it will and you can install it. Maybe someone who uses Norton can tell you how to do it. I did find this at the Norton website.
If you are certain that the file is good, then you can exclude the files or folders from being scanned.
Start Norton.
Click Settings.
Under Detailed Settings, click Antivirus.
On the Scans and Risks tab, scroll down to Exclusions / Low Risks.
Next to Items to Exclude from Auto-Protect, SONAR and Download Intelligence Detection row, click Configure.
In the Real Time Exclusions window, click Add Folders or Add Files.
Browse for and select the folders or files that you want to exclude from the scan, and then click OK.
Click Apply, and then click OK.
