Playing lost lands, ice spell and find it pretty good. Am wondering what other games are there per BF that are similar and without sounding like a total amatuer, ones that have a skip. Not interested in the CE's
Thanks

I moved your post over to the Casual Games forum.

If you are enjoying Lost Lands: Ice Spell, I would recommend other games by the same developer.

Here are a few of them:

New York Mysteries: Secrets of the Mafia
Lost Lands: The Wanderer
Lost Lands: Dark Overlord
Lost Lands: The Four Horsemen
Lost Lands: The Golden Curse
The Legacy: Forgotten Gates

There are several more, but that should give you a good start. This developer (5-BN) is very consistent in the quality of their games. All are available in $6.99 versions. wave

If anyone else is thinking of buying "Lost Lands: Ice Spell" I give this warning:
Click to reveal..
The SE ends on a cliffhanger. If you get the CE, the bonus game is a prequel, not a continuation, and does not resolve the cliffhanger. So you may want to wait and see if there's a 6th game in the series before purchasing "Ice Spell."

more specifically
Click to reveal..
Susan is arrested and blamed for killing the careless security guard, while her dwarf friend is apparently killed giving his life for her.

Thanks Marian, will certainly check those out.

Jenny, thanks for the heads up; will certainly keep checking if there is a follow up; I hope.

Marian, sent you a PM, but no need to answer; I just found me.... and it's not even Monday....

I agree that all of the Lost Lands games are terrific. One of those rare series without a dud.

I was bummed out by the ending of Ice Storm, too, but knowing how these games go, I'll bet the sequel will resolve that with some magic or another.

3dobermans: Another good series is New York Mysteries. I believe there are three in that series and all good.

Every other series I've played has had stinkers as well as excellent games.
Having said that, I found some good quality games in the following series:

Amaranthine Voyage
Awakening
Dark Parables
Enigmatus
House of 1000 Doors
Mystery Case Files
Riddles of Fate
Royal Detective
Shiver

Given that every series can be uneven in content and difficulty, I always play the Demo before buying, to get a better idea of what the game is like.

That's the one. It was released in September.
