Marian, I knew it wouldn't be automatic once the clock was set because then there would be no point in it being "stuck" so, no need to apologize. I know it's never that easy wink . I have been clicking some things, maybe not the right things (like the bell instead of the weights), to see if something would happen. I'll give it another go or two.

thanks

Well, actually, I still have a question because I cannot do anything with the weights. I am setting the time that is shown in Roman Numerals using the 2 switches on either side, however, the actual clock face does not change and I cannot change it. Is it supposed to change? Should I be able to turn the clock hands somehow? I still feel like I'm missing a hot spot.

I really do need to apologize because I have given you misleading information.

1. Initially you need to flip the switches to a different time other than 7:15 (when I say a different time, it's a specific different time, not just any time)
2. Then you need to figure out how to wind the weight(s) and start the pendulum.
3. Then you need to flip the switches so that you get 7:15.
4. Then you need to wind the chime and get the bell to ring.

Sorry I made such a hash of this. I was reading the walkthrough wrong. What was missing in all of this was my brain!

lol Your brain must be out somewhere with my brain then!

I actually had tried some other times, such as 2:45 which I think is what the clock face has on it (and 3:45 because I wasn't sure) and 12:00 because that seemed logical. But while trying those, I may not have been clicking on the weights or whatever. I am weary of this game at the moment so I'm going to give it a rest for now.

I'll be back later though.

Thank you Marian!

Of course I had to give it another try even though I really am weary of the game right now (frustrated weary). I got the pendulum going fairly easily and I knew how to change the face clock time (not how to control it though), but managed somehow to get lucky and get the bell to ring. Glad that's done! slapforehead

Finished the game thanks to you and your help Marian!

I know the first time I played the game I used the walkthrough at the end, but this time I didn't have too much trouble with the end puzzles at all, thankfully.

A short rest and then on to Syberia 3.

Oldbroad and Marian,
I also just finished Syberia 2, which I have played many times before. I actually have the original boxed version, so with a few "tweaks", I got it to work on my WIN 10 64 Bit PC.I love this series, so once in a while I re-install both S1 and S2. I'm currently playing S3, but not doing to well with some of the puzzles, but that's another story. LOL HAPPY GAMING!
Sandy

It sounds like you are having a good time gaming, Sandy. Good luck with Syberia 3. wave
