Thank you for your interest, and thank you for the post BrownEyedTigre. This will be the quickest release in 10 years. For each game, I've been getting slower and slower. This is partly due to each game being larger than the previous (and this one is no exception), but probably mainly because I'm getting older (I'm 50 now). Then, all of a sudden, I was able to finish a game in less than a year! And I really have no idea why. The summer started extremely early here, so I could shoot from early May, but that doesn't really explain it.

My wife Eleen started the pre-beta testing today (as always), and has already found some clumsy mistakes (as always). After that the game will go out for beta testing. I've had the same reliable testers for years now, so that will most likely go smooth and quick.

Oh no, every time a new game is announced it makes me replay all the previous ones. I could miss Christmas

I'm going to replay as well, and I'll keep on doing so until Birdwatcher is released unless maybe Blackenrock or Poisoned Pawn comes out before then. I think I'll even start with Remedy.

Poisoned Pawn is now supposed to be released next year and Blackenrock is still being worked on, so I don't think your playthrough will be interrupted.

Excellent news, thank you so much for posting! And great timing, I'm just about done with replaying them all. We have a new client with a parent company based in Sweden (I live in Washington state, we do IT), and somehow being on the phone with Swedish folks at the crack of dawn for the last six months put me in the mood for some Carol Reed. I wish I could afford to fly to Sweden, I would totally do a Carol Reed tourist trip to Norrköping.

Beta testing is going smooth, and we've ironed out some incompatibilities with the latest Mac operative system. It looks like it's going to be an early January release.

Maybe you need to clear the cache of your web browser - that is what I needed to do before it showed up for me. I use Firefox and control + shift + delete brings up "clear all history" - make sure that cache is checked and then click on "clear now."

Have a new Carol Reed game

Started playing the new game, Birdwatcher. Wanted to make a few comments. First of all, I thought Carol's comment (and picture) about computer games was funny. Second, I love the missing man's home. Beautiful.

I didn't start right away as I thought I would, so am still playing. I also like Henrik's home Laurette. Some very interesting music and locations. 42 Windows is absolutely awesome!

I thought for a second that the museum was torn down, so I had to look it up. It's still there, but closed now for renovation. Perhaps it won't be open again in the same fashion, so these games becomes a way to visit places even when they don't exist. Pretty cool.
I have never been there myself, but I think it looks very fun!

And my favorite song finally turned up (in The Anitquarian Bookstore). I thought it may not.

Always great to hear the oldies. I like that one too. But I got a new favourite this year, really liked the "playground" tune.

WOW is how I will start this off.... this is so beautiful... every step I take I go left and right.... just stunning... and of course I am enjoying the game play... right off I noticed the Gameboomer icon on the phone... nice!... I love looking around and I pray the games never go first person that just goes around... I now get motion sickness.... but back to what a wonderful game this is... thank you Mikael
