Is anyone playing this game or is it to unstable since it's an internet game. I've seen the ads per t.v. and looks interesting.

I had never heard of this game and had to do a google search for it.

Apparently it's an F2P game (free to play), but one player said this:

Quote:
However, unless you want to wait literally YEARS to get anywhere in the game, you have to buy the in-game currency, called diamonds, for real money.

There are those people who are willing to be patient and wait for some time so that they can progress in such games without spending real money (and it is doable), but some players might find this a turnoff to enjoying the game.

Maybe someone else here has firsthand experience with it. I also do not know if this would be considered to be a "casual" game.

Thanks Marian; I thought it was more in line with a TM. Saw ads for it on t.v. like I said and the graphics were quite good. I also don't have any interest in playing the waiting game, so to speak.

My son and husband play these sorts of games and they said there was a big backlash from the gaming community about the latest Star Wars game, also running under the same setup (earn your goodies or buy them with real money). There seems to be two types of people partaking in that gaming universe: 1) People who've been playing these games a long time and are used to having to work for their Level-Ups, and 2) people who want everything NOW, without having to wait or having to earn it the hard way. I'm not sure who is to be taken seriously. smirk

Nearly all the HOGs I've looked at for my iPad involve spending real money to make any progress rolleyes12

Yeah, they can be serious traps. I make it a practice only to play game apps where I can earn my way. I hate that feeling of constantly being niggled at.

I've been playing the free 2 plays for years on my Ipad and don't spend a dime. YOu get free stuff daily and you use what you get and eventually accumulate things. If you expect to play 8 hours a day on it you better win the lottery.

Exactly! I've been playing one game for over a year, and I love it. Have never spent a "real" dollar.

Thank you both for your comments smile12

I have to admit, though, that another reason I don't play HOGs on my iPad is the "size" of the hidden objects and the fact that most of the scenes I've looked at turn out to be "timed" eek12

And I'm not good with either laugh

Ugh. Always hated timed stuff. I had enough stress in my career. Never wanted stress to be part of my recreation, too! As for now, when I am retired, well ~ you can take ALL timed stuff and put it you-know-where. ha ha
