I am having a problem with the dialog I dont hear her talk or Jeps sounds I also dont see the written dialog. Without it the game does not move forward. is there a fix for this do I have to start over from the beginning by deleting this copy and installing again. There is an oval white space over Jeps head with my greyed out head when he is supposed to act.. Thanks for any help given. Is this the original disc version of the game? If it's a download, where did you download it from? Also, are you running on Windows 10? Are you using antivirus that might be interfering with the game? Have you tried any compatibility modes? (right-click game shortcut --> Properties --> Compatibility tab) Steam has a forum for the game, but I don't see anything about missing sound in the thread titles. Did you get the game from Steam? http://steamcommunity.com/app/277270/discussions/

I haven't had any luck finding information on getting this game working on Windows 10. In fact, none of the download sites I checked that sell this game (Fireflower, Steam, Amazon, Big Fish) claim it works on anything later than Windows 8 (and Amazon only claims up to Windows 7). Now it might work on some peoples' computers but not on most, or parts of the game might work but it might not be finishable, but none of those sites support the game on Windows 10. It's also not on Gameboomers' "Windows 10 and Games" list. http://www.gameboomers.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/topics/1027119/1I did not think about the antivirus. but if it was working in the first part of the game I don't think that interfered. Would it interfere after the game has started working? It might. By default an antivirus will scan everything your computer is doing and block things it thinks are suspicious, including games, or things games do during play. You could try adding the game exe to your antivirus' exceptions list to see if that helps. If you have a save from before the game messed up, go back to that one. Otherwise you'll have to replay from the start. If Mina didn't bandage her leg when she should have, something didn't trigger properly, so you have to go back to before that happened. Another thing to try is to start the game by right-clicking the game shortcut and choosing "Run As Administrator."

I reinstalled the game and got as far as the bandage I can see it in the square but it is greyed out and Jep cant get it. the climb on her shoulder and the hug is there I can do those actions but not get the bandage It might be worth trying the patch for flickering even though the description doesn't mention sound problems or parts of the game being greyed out. The patch provides alternative DirectX files, and your problem might be related to the version of DirectX that comes with Windows 10. More about the patch here http://www.gameboomers.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/topics/1141189/Fix_for_flickering_in_Kheops_gYou don't replace Windows 10's DirectX files. You just extract the files from the patch into the game's folder.
