I just finished playing Gorogoa for a second time and it is wonderful. It's clever, beautiful, and absolutely unique. (There haven't been many truly unique adventure games since MYST in 1993.) I do have a couple questions about it. First, was it successful enough for the developers to consider a sequel? Also, the game has a title page that labels the game "Buried Signal." What does that title have to do with anything? Whatever the answers, the game is great fun.

If all the people were heroes, there would be no one to watch the parades.

I believe Buried Signal is the name of the game developer; I found that information online.

There's some more information about Gorogoa here that you might find of interest.

Yes, that 'Buried Signal' is the title Jason Roberts, the one and only developer of 'Gorogoa', has chosen for himself - just before the release.

Folks, that obvious possibility never entered my mind. I really AM getting old. Thanks for the info.
