Hi fellow Boomers, this might have been discussed before, but I am playing the GOG version of Overseer, and after launching it, the intro plays fine, but then when in Tex's office, if I try to use my mouse, the game freezes.
I contacted GOG Support, but they apparently are not able to come up with a "cure" for the problem and promptly offered a refund. Has anybody here on GB come up with a solution since the last thread some time ago? If NOT I will accept the GOG refund.

If that doesn't work, there seem to be plans for a remake in The Poisoned Pawn.

The two people in this thread here got the game running in Windows 10.

After playing with the "tex.ini" file for about 3 hours with no success, launched the game and after the intro scene, I was in Tex's office, so I put the cursor immediately to the top of the screen. I clicked on the CONFIG tab,, then on PREFERENCES, then to ADVANCED PREFERENCES and changed the VR RENDERING option from HARDWARE to SOFTWARE. Got a message saying "changes will take effect after restarting the game". Then the game crashed, so I launched it again, and because of that change, the game is running perfectly. no need to change anything in the "tex.ini" files, after all.
Apparently, GOG was not aware of this, so I will contact them again, to tell them what I did to correct the problem with this particular game. i'm sure I'm only one of many buyers of this game who have contacted GOG pertaining to this. WHEW!
