I'm stuck in the level where Victoria is looking in the killer's house for clues. In the living room, there is a safe which can be opened with code 1-9-A-4-6. All text + video walkthoughs found online indicate that this safe is supposed to contain screenplay documents + a box with hairs from victims to be investigated. However in my game, the safe only contains the screenplay documents, but no trace of this box. It's not in the safe. So I'm missing a clue and I cannot make progress in the game. Could someone send me a savegame from right after opening the charred door (the door on the top floor with the elektronic lock that your colleague needs to unlock). Many thanks,

The walkthrough at http://www.gameboomers.com/wtcheats/pcSs/StillLife2byz/StillLife2byz.htmsays Click on 1-9-A-4-6 and then, press OK.
Victoria tells us that the Safe is open, and steps out of the close up. Close up on the Safe again, and click on the Stack of Papers in the top shelf, to hear Victoria's comment. Collect the clue by using the FINGERPRINT POWDER and then, the 3D SCANNER. Analyze the clue, to learn that we will need Claire's help again.
Note: Do not try to call Claire while you are still in the Inventory Menu because, as I found, a technical bug kicks in and you won't be able to close up on the Safe again to check out the other item inside: the pink-and-white box in the bottom shelf.
So step out of both the Inventory Menu and the close up on the Safe, before you call Claire. Exhaust the conversation. Close up on the Safe again, and click on the Box in the bottom shelf. So is it possible you hit the bug described in the bold print in the walkthrough?

That box stays invisible no matter what I try. I really doubt that this is a technical bug, I'm starting to think that it was removed in a recent updated version of the game. Did someone else play the game recently?

I have it installed on my computer but cannot find my saves. Any idea where they are? Then, I MIGHT be able to find what you need but I'm not sure!
Found the folder - looking for a save. This is from GOG. How are you playing it?
Edit again: I sent 2 saves. I hope one of them works. I made a new one today but it doesn't say .sav for some reason. Anyway, check your email.
