When I bought my computer, it had windows 8 installed. I upgraded to window 10 online. I have received several notices asking if I wanted to delete my previous version of windows, I click delete, but apparently it is never deleted. I received another message today. Is there a way to safely delete windows 8 manually?

I Googled the problem and apparently it can happen even when the Windows.old folder is gone and the previous Windows is already deleted. Seems like a bug.

Here are a couple of threads with suggestions from Microsoft Community
***Delete Previous Version Notification Keeps Coming Back***
***Delete Previous Versions" in Windows 10 is not working***
