Someone suggested two casual games and I can't find either of them on Big Fish, nor do I remember on what thread I read about them. It is possible I either wrote them down wrong or that they are game apps for a device and not a game for the PC.

Can someone clear this up for me? The two games were: Mystic Legacy: The Great Ring and Secret of Raven Rock.

Mystic Legacy can be found here.

Big Fish does not sell the other game. I believe it's a mobile/tablet game.

Thank you for these suggestions.
I played the Demo of Mystic Legacy & will get it with next game credit.

Also bought The Secret of Raven Rock (iPad version) for 99 cents!

Thank you once again 😀

Thanks, Marian! I will check it out. Sometimes, the Search doesn't seem to work correctly at BF. Glad you found the game.

Not sure I'll go for the other one, although it looks interesting.

Reenie, I agree with you that the search function doesn't always lead to what you are looking for; I have had that experience myself.

Mignone, I have the smaller iPad Mini. Do you think this would make screen items too small to handle while playing Raven Rock?

Reenie,

I'm playing it on a iPad Mini 4.
I have not had any issues seeing or using items.
For the price (99 cents)its hard to pass it up.
Cheaper than a Lottery Ticket and you have
something to show for it.

Hope this helps ya.

I downloaded the demo game for Mystic Legacy: The Great Ring at BF, but it requires that I also download a software app called DirectPlay. It probably is one of those applications that game designers use as their game structure but I am not familiar with that application, so I didn't download it. If you don't download it, the game won't run properly. Is it really worth downloading yet another application only to run one game? Just wondering.

Whatever it is, I think it's probably harmless enough, Reenie, and not much of a file size.

DirectPlay allows you to play older games on newer OS.

Thanks for the info. I think I'll give the game a pass. There are SO many other games out there that don't require "back-dating" my computer.

Mystic Legacy: The Great Ring is a favorite of mine. Crisp graphics, although somewhat dated by 2018 standards; and an amusing story both intelligently and wittily told. Almost no hand holding unless you get a hint. DirectPlay didn't affect other games so I don't see the downside. Is there one? Now I'm nervous.

Nothing to be nervous about, 8dognight. No downsides at all. It's a harmless little program.

I think I have Mystic Legacy in my Purchase History but not sure I ever played it. Will go take a look.

By the way, Deep Shadows has a new Tales of Terror game that I believe is going to be released this week.
