Welcome to the weekend!


I was walking Missy at the park today when a tiny black kitten came up and started following us.


Well I tried to shoo it away, but it latched on to us much to Missy's horror.


Missy was so frightened she wanted me to pick her up.


This kitten is not half Missy's size.


My friend's sister knows a guy where she works who was looking for a kitten, so I'm hoping that in the morning I'll have a home for it.


Otherwise I'll have to feed it to the neighbor's Great Dane.

Joe! That is so cute that Missy was scared! THank you for rescuing it and helping to find it a home.

I'm working early morning and bedtime shifts the next 7 days including my usual stops, so I'll be up and out early. Today I will have James on our annual picnic and boating excursion which he loves. He will love it and it will be 98 degrees so perfect lake day!

Just back from a walk. Hot hot hot, but there was a tiny breeze for part of it. Showered up and breakfast is waiting on the stove. Sitting and surfing for a sec.

Joe, Missy and the kitty may turn out to be good friends. Our original crew of Border Collie and 2 cats used to sleep in one big fluff ball.

Good afternoon everybody

Rise and shine this morning...but not too early as it is the weekend afterall...and then it was off to the park to walk the dogs (and me) and then home to mow the grass, fix the siding on the roof eve that had blown off in the gale we had the other day...winds were howling up to 60 miles per hour with this one thunderstorm we had...and then a couple of hours in the rose garden starting to get it back into shape and then off to the back porch to clear branches from the storm and a good sweep and then finally finished the Saturday chores by fixing L4L's squirrel feeder...those little guys will probably break it again

I'm off to garden now while I listen to my music and then it'll be time to work on my D&D character.

Awww Joe, sounds like someone dumped the poor friendly kitten and he is looking for a good home. Hope your friend wants it. It's found YOU.

GOOD NEWS! My wheelchair bound friend who got a divorce and lives around the corner right next to the ex hubby and his new girlfriend (the reason the marriage broke up) has finally managed to get the house SOLD. Closed escrow yesterday and the hubby and all will be leaving soon for wherever they can go. He's been cleaning out for 2 weeks (ever since the 'offer' on the house) and I suspect they are paying him to leave quickly. Loads of his junk going away and some to storage some sold. He's a junkyard guy. So much stuff you won't believe.

We all will breathe a sigh of relief when he and the 'honey' move out for good, never to be heard from again. I think the entire neighborhood will be out to cheer him as he leaves. We all want him gone. He's also the guy who shoots off HUGE fireworks on the 4th of July and New Year. Bad bad man. I'm so thrilled for my friend. She will have major stress gone when he's out for good.

Hiya Connie enjoy your yummy spaghetti , Looney try and keep cool , Soot happy dogie walking and Sorta you and the neighborhood should have a party when he leaves.
