Hopefully, someone will remember this puzzle sequence. My character has come to a cliff she has to climb, and the puzzle involves dragging directional arrow pieces over to the climbing column, in an sequence that will guide her up the cliff safely, and then click the "Try" button to see if I am correct. I've encountered this kind of puzzle before; not a mystery what is required. (Just so you know, she did find the climbing boots, so that is not holding things back.)

However, I can't get any of the directional arrow pieces to "stick" on the puzzle, so I can start to try various climbing sequences. This is one Rite of Passage game that never had a forum on the old Community game chat at BF (I looked).

Does anyone have a clue as to what am I missing? happydance

I played this game and remember that there is a climbing sequence. I don't remember having to drag directional arrow pieces in the way that you describe. This is not to say that I did not do that, but are you sure that you don't just have to reorder the arrows within the column?

Good question. There are squares on the cliff that are the exact size of the arrow blocks, and the arrow blocks can be dragged with the cursor, so I assumed that was the approach. I will try "reordering" the stack of arrows later, when I get back to the game. I'll let you know.

That did work, Marian. Big Thanks!

There were quite a few puzzles in this game that left me scratching my head. Not in the sense of figuring out how to solve them, but in figuring out what I was supposed to do in the first place. crazy And it is one of those games where you periodically battle a dangerous and powerful entity that is polite enough to wait for you to take a significant amount of time to charge your weapon and shoot before she tries to strike back at you. I always get a kick out of "Demon Politeness."
