This is, I think, a fairly recent game. All I remember about it is that either the victim or a suspect incongruously has a boutique on the grounds of a house in the country; you search a doctor's house; you don't move past a fountain crossroads until late in the game.

This one isn't jumping out at me, but I will certainly think about it some more.

The oddly situated boutique is called a boutique. It's locked and on the same property as the house. I think we get in once. The person who owns the boutique is female.

Location: My dim sense is that this is a sub-genre which in print fiction would be called a country house murder, so I'm guessing Great Britain or maybe the United States.

At this point I'm not even sure how good the game is but I do recall it's a murder mystery and that the graphics are adequate but not over the top wonderful.

I have been trying to find murder mysteries ever since we talked about them a while back.

Steam have a game called "Murder Mystery Adventure" which features a mansion - but I don't know if there is also a boutique ....
