This escalator puzzle has three answer words for each numbered clue. The letter counts for each answer word are 6, 5 and 4, in that order. The clues are arranged in the same manner (the first clue is for the 6-letter answer and so on). Drop one letter from the 6-letter answer (and anagram in most cases) to find the 5-letter answer then drop a letter from that answer to get the 4-letter answer. Column A will identify which letter was dropped from 6 to 5 and Column B will identify which letter was dropped from 5 to 4. When all of the clues are answered, the letters in Columns A & B will spell out a phrase when read down A and then B.

Example: A word that follows thunder or baby, a real romantic, a sandwich cookie = boomer (B) Romeo (M) Oreo
