Is there a patch or fix for disappearing inventory for this game? I lost an item from my inventory and then when I picked up another item it appeared to go in there but didn't. I went back to a prior save and the first item was missing from inventory in that save even though it WAS there when I made the save.

I'm playing in XP.

There is something called "fix for nvidia" here

Thanks Jenny. I did see that patch. It doesn't seem to be what I need. I haven't had any crashes yet. I'm very early in the game. Just started. I'm going to give it another try. Maybe the inventory will reappear upon restarting the game.

Well, guess what? It IS there!

Maybe that's what you have to do if/when it disappears then -- save, exit, and restart the game.

Well I finished the game and didn't have any more problems with it at all, so I must have just clicked on something wrong to cause that inventory problem.
