On the assembled toy it's suppose to appear by itself on the screen to enable you to read
what is written on it. but when I click on it that does not happen I don't know what more
Is require to complete the assembly.

Is this the part of the game you are having trouble with?

Quote:
Le Pendu: Sully finally opened the compartment. It has ropes, tools and a Le Pendu piece.

In inventory combine all of the pieces to get a complete Le Pendu.

It has letters written on it - Who repented?

Turn the toy to the other side and see a keyhole.

Let me know, and then we will see if we can find some help for you.

Hi Marian

Yes this is the part of the game I am having trouble with
I though I had all the pieces to this point in the game
But I don't know what I am missing.

Looking over the walkthrough, it looks like there are two previous occasions where you need to assemble Le Pendu pieces.

First is in the morgue:

Quote:
Take the Le Pendu piece from the cart beside Gallagher. Note that the tape recorder is the old style one.

In inventory, combine the 2 Le Pendu pieces.

Second is also in the morgue:

Quote:
Terence gives a gadget that is used for reading graffiti. Choose the color of light similar to what you want to project to and see what is behind. It can also transfer the picture to computer.

In inventory combine the new piece of Le Pendu with the assembled part to get partly assembled antique.

Is it possible that you did not do one of these?

I haven't played the game so can't offer an opinion about the ending. Maybe someone else who has played the game will be able to offer an opinion. Glad you were able to finish the game. smile

I certainly can't remember the ending at all but I do know that the story got quite confusing towards the end. I'm sure I also did not understand it.

It's been awhile since I've played, but if I remember fully, some of it is explained later (this is a four chapter game)

It never occurred to me that maybe Bluto hadn't played all the episodes. That could well be why the ending seemed a bit confusing.

Well I played the whole game at one time and I understood the story almost up until the end and then it got all convoluted on me.

It sounds like it would have confused me, too!

I am thinking that Bluto did not play the whole game though as NDLVR pointed out, going by what he wrote and how fast he finished it.

Hi oldbroad

I am going to play the next episode and see if it will answer some of the
things that happened it sort of left you up in the air on the ending.
see if I can find out what happened to the other detective that was with her
Sully.

Do you know what episode you are playing? I am not sure exactly where you are in the game.

Maybe another Cognition player will be able to help you.

Bluto - I don't remember the game well enough but there is an excellent walkthrough here on Gameboomers that is very detailed. Please take a look at it. I think I see where you are at but that is a very long sequence with a lot of steps.

Bluto, I know where you're at. See if my video walkthrough helps at all. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NH59czntUrM&index=14&list=PLrWwuQDIddurZsrUncAHO06EiGCI_8Z2U (start it around the 7:20-ish mark)
