I moved your post over to Glitches. Let's see what the techies have to say about this.

Hi Jenny100

No I was not I down loaded it but when I double clicked on the Dracula5 Icon all that came up
Was the start screen and it locked out my mouse so I was unable to proceed any further.
I downloaded it the only way I could, you have to down load 4&5 together
then when I went load it to play I click on the Icon and the start screen appeared and the
Game locked it self up including the mouse.

I had to shut the laptop down completely by taking out the battery

Thats the whole problem.

That's pretty bad when you have to take the battery out of the laptop to shut it down.
Did you try holding down the power button for 30 seconds first?
Sometimes that works when a laptop freezes.

Since you have Windows 10, try the tip here

Right click on the shortcut (*. exe file also works) - Properties - Compatibility - "Change settings for all users" and "Override behavior with high DPI scaling. Change the scaling from:" from "Application" to "System", the game should also run with the latest insider version of Windows 10.

Since you force quit while the game was running, you may want to uninstall and reinstall the game before trying the tip.
