Forgive me if I'm not allowed to do this.

Hey everyone! It's been a long time since I've been here, you possibly will not remember me or know who I am, but to summarize I love adventure games and won't stop until they become a non dying genre in the gaming industry.

That is why myself and a group of others are involved in making brand new Sierra type adventure games to give the fans a dose of nostalgia as they play games that could have been.

We are Infamous Adventures (www.infamous-adventures.com) At the moment we are creating two adventure games which we are hoping will be released this year.

Quest for Infamy, a darker version of Quest for Glory, where instead of playing as the Hero, you're the villain. Take on the small village of Spielberg 20 years later, and become the most feared name in the valley, where you perform dastardly deeds and crimes.

Our other project, which is very nearly complete I must say, is the long awaited remake of, King's Quest III VGA. With stunning VGA backgrounds and beautifully composed scores will make this an amazing experience.

Since this is a huge community of gamers I just wanted everyone to know about this.

Again our site is;
www.infamous-adventures.com

Please come and visit and show your support! laugh

Cheers,
Broomie (aka Bromios)

Wow! I came back here and was like... where is my topic. Perhaps it wasn't allowed and they deleted it.

Then I look up and see that it's been sticked! That is amazing thank you so much!

Well there will be three types of Villians such as you had three types of Hero in Quest for Glory. You have the Assasin, very much like the Thief, the Brigand, like the fighter and the Sorcerer, obviously the Wizard.

I'm glad everyone is looking forward to this as much as I am. Stick around the site and forums if you wish for more updates.

Thanks!

Yeah, I was ready to go with Tierra Central, yet as soon I was about to Upload it Tierra suddenly changed their name. So, not knowing what to do, I decided that a name change and a huge site overhaul was in order. I renamed it to Door of Destiny.

However, due to Infamous Adventures I decided to put DOD on hold until I got more time.

Sierra was one of the earliest developers/publishers of graphic adventures. They have a long and storied history.

Here's one site that will tell you about some of their early adventure games. (Look to the buttons on the left -- I'd suggest starting with the Kings Quest information.)

I'm sure we have other gamers here who can tell you much more.

fov? You there???

King's Quest V was the first adventure game I ever played and that got me into the whole adventure genre. Thanks, Broomie.
