Today's game for Club Members, tomorrow's game for all. You can download The Legacy: The Tree of Might here. To view the comments and access the link to the Collector's Edition, click here. The grand historical museum reception held by Deborah Whitwick became well known throughout the country. An inexplicable viral attack on the guests occurred right in the middle of the lady's solemn speech. When the epidemic began, no one had any idea just what the citizens of New York were facing. An urgent expedition was organized to re-explore the archipelago in the hope of finding information on the nature of the disease. As a linguist and expert on ancient languages, I was to join them. I couldn't even imagine how this journey would turn out for me... Check out our Blog Walkthrough. As always, please remember to come back and tell us what you think. Happy gaming!

I tried the Demo for this game and was drawn to it enough to buy it. It has a wonderful fantasy feeling to it that is difficult to describe. The environments, the graphics, the creativity and the character's reactions to everything are intriguing. There are few HO scenes and they aren't arduous. There are Collectibles and Morphing Objects but they aren't in your face and as far as I can tell, collecting them generates no bonus. It feels more like an Adventure Game than a Hidden Object Game. I'm into the Bonus Game now, which revolves around a secondary character from the main game, which is another novel approach to this genre. All in all, I have loved it and know I will replay it at some point.
Edit: I forgot to mention the puzzles/mini-games! They are a delight. There are no music puzzles, there are a few sliders but they all were dead easy, there is some glyph-matching, many puzzles are Inventory-based and you have to find the missing objects in order to start to solve the puzzle. There are a few puzzles that you have seen in other games, but interspersed within those are some totally new puzzle types that I thoroughly enjoyed encountering and figuring out. Even the traditional puzzle types have a slight twist to them that makes this game original. Nothing is timed and there is no one shooting at you.
