Replaying this game and not sure if I'll be able to continue. Does anybody know if it is absolutely necessary to do the mirror maze puzzle? It is making me so sick, I don't know if I can do it. I'm sure I followed the walkthrough the first time I played but it seems like there wasn't really anything useful in there.

Looking at the walkthrough, I am not sure if it is necessary, although it does not say that it is optional.

Mita's Dream maze is a clue puzzle only. You need to find a word inside the maze for another puzzle later in the game.

Exactly, and below that Rushes wrote that as long as you make note of the word in the spoiler you don't have to go back in the maze, that it is not a "trigger" puzzle.
