Just finished the Demo and this game is definitely a buy for me on a sale. I don't know why some of the reviewers at BF said that the graphics were poor, I found them clear and crisp, maybe these are Young reviewers who love it when the Screens Smashes your Eyeballs with Bright colours and hard-hitting Blaring white Screens, but for me and my eyes this game is refreshing and easy on the eyes. They consider it boring, again, because there are No Monsters, evil witches or Gory animals or insects, etc. Maybe when I play the full game I might change my view, but the demo was fun and a good switch from the spooky, fighting, blood letting actions, mind you I do like games that are scary, but once in awhile it is good to take a break. This game may not make a top ten game of the year award but nonetheless it is a refreshing change and a relaxing game to play before bedtime, again, based on the demo.
Forgot to mention that according to one reviewer there are only 16 HOP scenes in the main game and 14 puzzles in the main game, so you can judge if this is enough HOP or puzzles to your liking and I can't say whether all the puzzles rate from easy to hard since I did not play the entire game.

I just HAVE to make a comment about this game (a funny one; not critical). I'm playing the game which states you can't get any water without the faucet. I finally found it and put it on. Then, you have a cup with which you dip it into the water already in the bowl/sink). Really struck me as funny. BTW: The game is a good one and fun to play, especially if you like playing detective.

Couldn't sleep so I finished off this game, good game but there are a lot more HO scenes then stated by a reviewer in the BF forum, either he doesn’t know how to count or has another definition of HOs. Although as mentioned above, I enjoyed playing it and have no regrets buying it (on sale) it is not a replay for me because of the pilling on of HOs. Too bad, I would have given this game a 5 star rating instead of 3.5.

I liked The Path of Sin: Greed's demo and have bought. I agree with Starcom on the graphics. Unlike Kingmaker, Path of Sin: Greed is a modern murder mystery; stylistically it is every bit as good as Kingmaker. As with Kingmaker, I rarely see this sort of setting produced and treated with so much care, respect, creativity, and talent. Although I'm not looking forward to running into I did laugh at the sitcom reference and also relished the medieval closet HO because the objects themselves were interesting. The polo mallet, which I hasten to add is not a murder weapon, showed that objects appropriate to the milieu can be incorporated seamlessly if developers put some thought into characterization. I had an oh-dear moment when I thought Cordelia had missed a story hole, then discovered the discrepancy was intentional, heaved sigh of relief and continued on more aligned with the goals of the developers and their fictional detectives. An evidence folder/board fills us in on characters. I'm liking this game. So, Cordelia has two series with massive potential. Please, don't blow it by careening in so many directions that high graphic and narrative standards have to be hurled off of and under the bus.

Just getting around to playing this one. Wow! A stellar offering from one of the lesser known developers. Everything about it is excellent. Graphics are superb and the story is a good detective story. Plenty of places to explore. I definitely need the map since there's a bit of going back and forth to use inventory items. HOS are crisp and not too time-consuming. Not many puzzles. That being said, I wouldn't say this is an easy game, especially since there are a good deal of inventory items and places to use them. Highly recommend. Sparkle, please, put this on the recommendation list. Presence on the list makes it much easier to find games later when I am just looking for a good one and the named thread has receded. As far as I'm concerned you don't need to say more than you did here.
