Hi again, Jenny100 smile

With further regard to my favourite Big Fish games .... once my PC is taken off-line ....

I have all of them downloaded directly to my external drive (and activated on my Win7 machine) now.
And most I can happily launch, play and quit without any apparent appearance of the Games Manager grin

However, with one or two of the older ones (including "The Lost Cases of 221 Baker St.") the Games Manager does make an appearance when I quit.

Does this mean I won't be able to play it (or any other game where the same happens) once my Win7 is taken off-line ??

The Game Manager popping open after you close the game doesn't mean the game won't play.
As long as the game has been activated on that computer it doesn't have to be online.

If you want you can test it by temporarily disconnecting from the Internet before you start and play the game. Normally I only connect my "Big Fish computer" (which has XP and Vista) to the Internet while downloading and activating the games, and it is almost always offline while I play.

I've played Big Fish games when my internet was out and the game manager still pops up when I quit the game. It usually then gives a message that it's "not responding" but I've never had any problem caused by it.

Well thanks for that, Jenny100, and I don't think I will need to do a "test".
If it works for you it should work for me laugh

On the rare occasions when my internet connection is lost, oldbroad, I just tend to play stuff that doesn't need it so I've not experienced what you describe smile
