Do you mean in how it looks or in how it tastes? If you are looking at the round heads of iceberg lettuce and the round heads of cabbage, the "leaves of the cabbage are tightly packed around the core. Iceberg lettuce is looser and softer. If you put them next to each other, they really don't look alike at all - other than being round. Of course, there are hundreds of kinds of leaf lettuce - red leaf, buttercrunch, Romaine etc. They are in a bunch, not a head. There are also cabbage varieties that are not in a head either.
If you're talking about taste, cabbage is in the cruciferae family which includes cauliflower, cabbage, garden cress, bok choy, broccoli, brussels sprouts etc.

Sounds yummy, oldbroad. I also like cabbage and noodles.

I love fried cabbage. Slice it up after cutting out the core and saute gently with butter with a lid on the pot to help steam it. When it starts turning brown, take off the lid. When it's nice and tender, add some minced garlic and saute for about 60 seconds. Take off the heat and add salt and pepper and some Parmesan cheese.
