I'm happy to say I'm quite enjoying this game yes
[Apart from the navigation system - which I have found awkward from the start.]

However, my question here is about the saves ....

Although I can mostly save whenever I wish, once the save slots have all been used and I have to "overwrite" one, if I then quit the game I sometimes find on my return that the overwritten save has not worked.
[It doesn't always show up in the little available "saved Game" picture slots. Sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn't woozy]

So as an alternative, I've tried quitting the game and then deleting from the Saves Folder all saves dated from BEFORE the date and time of the last few I made before quitting.
But that doesn't always work either. On returning to the game, the latest saved game available to re-load is not always the latest save I actually made.
Because of these two examples I'm giving, I've had to replay a chunk of game on more than one occasion, which of course is slowing my progress.

So I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this situation - and if so, what they did about it ?? rolleyes

[I never delete the very first save I make in a game.]

I have no idea about the saves in this game, Mad.

If someone else doesn't come along who knows about this, we can try moving this thread over to Glitches to see if they have any ideas. wave

I love my saves so probably make far too many !! laugh
But I'm coping better with the save situation now - by overwriting some saves whilst within the game and directly deleting others from the saved game file once out of it.

Anyway .... I'm currently in the cathedral ruins section.
I have got into the ruins and gradually made my way down to some lower regions where I have attached the "seal" in the "alcove".
[Examining/reading everything I could find on the way down and in the rooms near the alcove.]

Lastly I have gone down a very short flight of steps (in this same area) which end in a blank wall.
I can't find anything to interact with here but if I try to go back up Victor insists I "keep on searching".

So I am stuck !!

Can anyone please give me a nudge ??

Sorry Mad. I'm not playing this game yet. How many save slots are there anyway? I don't like being stuck in a game and not able to access some other area while I try to figure things out. Maybe if nobody can help you, you can contact Zack.

I can't find any help for this online. I agree about maybe trying to contact the developer if no one around here is able to help you.

I, too, have looked on-line, Marian, but could hardly find anything. Certainly nothing useful.

And I've only seen one person here at Gameboomers that said they had played the game - which I found surprising.

So maybe I might have to resort to contacting the developer rolleyes

I'll just try another couple more searches within the game myself, first, as I've found I CAN get past Victor after all - although only to places I feel I've examined thoroughly already.

EDIT :

oldbroad, there are around ten or twelve save slots. That's all. Could certainly do with more wink

Thanks for the info Mad. I am also a person who likes her saves.

Good luck. I hope you are able to get unstuck soon.

Well, after more fruitless searches in the ruins this evening - and being told by an "on-screen" message that I can't leave the area yet (whenever I attempt to) - I have caved in and emailed the developer .... Just to ask for a "nudge" yes

Why a full walkthrough hasn't yet appeared on You Tube is a mystery !!
Normally one appears the minute a game is released lol
