An update on that Easter egg. When I reached the end of the game, just before the preview of the next ND game and credits rolled, I was presented with an award certificate for finding it. I wonder how many eggs there are in the game.

Yep, it is the fish in the tidal pool. Twice I was able to access the easter egg. But when I tried again for the 3rd time, I couldn't get it again. I'm not sure exactly what triggers it but it could be that you have to click on a certain area of the fish.

Yep, that fish was pretty cool!! I also liked the part in the tunnel where you climb the ladder and open the trap door. When you look up you see jackets hanging up, but if you keep clicking above them you see a whole bunch of different pictures. That was fun

I got that fish message twice too. Also could never get it a third time. Dang, I didn't watch the credits for my certificate though.

My mistake. The other easter eggs I found in the tunnel were not by the jackets, but after you climb the crates to the trap door where the tools are. If you keep clicking on the tiles you see pictures of the statue of liberty, a dog, a blimp and a few more. Quite a surprise

I had to click on the fish many times before he introduced himself. Clamming question - what's with the chunks of raw meat in the bottom of the clamming bucket???

Why is the Easter Egg on Deception Island in Danger?

I don't know, but it doesn't seem to interfere with anything. It's disgusting but not a problem.
