I thoroughly enjoyed this game with, of course, the exception being the ending that didn't resolve the murders of the identity of the murderer frown . I hope that a sequel does come out, even though it looks doubtful at this point. Ms. McPherson has tickets to LA after all! I knew I recognized the voice of Gus and realized it was from Post Mortem, so that was kinda fun. I'm going to play Post Mortem again...however I am going nuts trying to figure out who the "pupil" might be!!! We may never know but I'm hoping someone will take pity on us poor adventure gamers and give us a sequel to answer all the questions left open-ended!!!! In the meantime, back to Myst IV and on to Myst V. So many games and not enough time to play them all at once!!!!

Take care everybody!

Hi Raheesha wave I edited your thread title to show that it contains a spoiler about the ending, since we wouldn't want someone to stumble across it, if they haven't played it yet.

I thought it was a really good game too, but I'm afraid there won't be a sequel. But you can never say never. laugh

Well, Ms. McPherson has a ticket to L.A. alright but did you see the shadows around the bath tube and did you hear the creepy noise scared while she was in the whirlpool scared
Maybe the L.A. ticket is of no use any longer...

Nickie wave just sent you an email..

shame Someday you'll all discover the truth I've known for a long time (Only by intuition, so I needn't fool with 'truth'). It was the father! I mean the guy became manic about Christmas cookies, for heaven's sake. Also remember he was doing something to the spa at a rather odd time and where do we see Victoria last??? Yep; it was ol' Dad.

I'm with you, Tigger. It was definitely the boyfriend in my mind. Loved that game!

Hmm, why do you folks think it was just one person? I think it was several, including the medical examiner (wasn't that queen of hearts, or something like that). laugh

My money is on Richard! It has to be someone that Victoria knows because both had a chance to kill the other and didn't. Also, Richard was supposed to be protecting the last victim and was MIA when Victoria returned to the gallery.

I love the idea of the father, if only because it would be unexpected, and Richard is too obvious. For me all evidence points to Richard as well, but a final game, making a very nice trilogy would be a great way to add suspects and play with the ones established in Still Life. Any chance for a fan based game to complete the story?

I always wanted to know who the killer was as well. I thought it might be her partner, Dad would make an interesting choice becuase that would explaine why the killer didn't kill her, Richard was always my first choice but I always thought that was to obvious as well. Maybe it was the grandfather Gus who was secretly driven out of his mind because his one true love was killed years ago and he became a copy cat killer. On second thought I don't think it was the coworker because if I remember correctly he couldn't stand the sight of blood and puked everytime he saw it and the killer obviously enjoys the sight of blood very much!!!

I don't think it could be the co-worker or her dad (since the whole thing started with her grandfather from Post Mortem) OR just a copycat since this person would have to be kinda old. Why wasn't he slashing in the meantime? I'll bet it's the same killer and just like the weird idea about Ol' Jack, he never died.
Kinda supernatural.
