To my surprise "Return To Zork" not only installed on my iBook but even seems to run. Despite dating from 1993. I do need to figure how to save games, my first attempt quit me right out.

For when I get stuck there are people out there who have played this game?

Ohhhh I love this game. The little boy under the bridge, getting the bras - I replay this all the time. Pshaw on that bog, who cares about GRUE's... Well ok the bog was a little hard - but what a great game. I'll help too, Peter

Pshaw on the bog???? Do you have any idea how long it took me to get through that sucker??? 'Course if I hadn't of tried to drink Boos under the table before going "underground" I might not have been so woozy and sunk in the muck so much

There's some kind of magic staff or something that you use, so I just took my time. Maybe it was all that partying with Boos - that "bogged" you down

If I ever try to play that game again you'll know I had some "rye" beforehand.......and maybe a few other things!!!!!!

This is another one of those that I started and gave up long before the end. Not sure why, maybe the 'dated' graphics, but I lost interest in it.

Oh well, maybe someday I'll give it another go!

I had totally forgotten that I have this game on my "to be played" shelf; I never heard too many comments about it on GB. Now I think I'll have to give it a try. Does anyone know if it will run with XP?

I tried to play this game quite awhile ago. Can't tell how far I got because I could go no farther. I did not have a plant or root or whatever that you had to pick up from the beginning of the game. And I had no desire to replay the darned thing. But, maybe someday....

Oooh..RTZ is one of the games I replay at least once a year!

I've played it so many times the bog is no longer a problem, even though it does take me awhile to get through it. It's just so much fun when you finally see the other side and know you have once more succeeded in crossing it!

It is also remembered with fondness as it was one of the first adventure games I completed all by myself!

I agree with Jean. This game was and still is a classic...there's not a month that goes by that I don't find the saying "want some rye?, course ya do" floating through my head at least once!
