Well technically Rusty - as an Orangutan - Aren't you are an ape? laugh

Asazen - I experimented - drop the space and make it one word and no auto fix wink

As for avatar - well I can't get the one I want to work, so I just picked the one in stock that most appealed to me. I liked the moon and the mystical look of it. On the other hand it could be because I am a lunatic bwah-ha-ha-ha <img border="0" alt="woozy" title="" src="graemlins/woozy.gif" />

OK, so now that my avatar has been "outed", time for a switch.

Wah I changed my mind, if that is a fossil I don't want to be a fossil, I think that is a fossil of a bug, but thanks anyway Jim, you made it, how can you make them? laugh

Yeh, Fongo! I like it!

This one doesn't scare me. wink

I didn't mean to "out" your avatar, though...it was just such a drastic change from Clayman. lol

It was a fossil of an extinct type of lizard. I sent you a fossil of an angiosperm as well, Hawk. More up your alley?

Wah I think you are being mean to me, all I got was the fossilized lizard and I don't know what that angio thing is, did not get that and have no idea what it is. Actually what I would really like is this little pic of me, b & w, taken when I was about 2 and a half, but it is still too big and I do not have the expertise to make it the correct size for an avatar. I have tried to crop, but still more than 60 x 60 pixels. So?

Calls for the right image editing software, Hawk.

You didn't get the fossilized fern yet?

And I guess I misunderstood. I thought you were saying you wanted an avatar that was a fossil. Else I wouldn't have spent 2 hours today trying to make one for you. Since your e-mail, I understand that you were joking. C'est la vie. wink

But since the e-mail got hung up, Hawk, here it is so you can at least see the other one I made.

Yes I finally got the other fossil, just to please you I will download it in a day or so to my Msn page and will use it for awhile. Hey you don't have to waste your time on me you know, I was being rather fictitious, is this a word? Just a night where I was feeling my age, so thought I should be a fossil. Really I am rather young at heart, but did not age that well, wrinkles run in the family, hehe!

Hawk - your avatar file doesn't have to be 60 x 60 pixels. Just put the picture file up on the web somewhere, and then go into your profile at GB and point to it. The file will be resized for you to fit into the 60 x 60 allotted space.
I would think though, that you would want the picture to be square (or close to square - I just eyeball it myself) so that the resizing doesn't make it all disproportionate.

Well Johnboy, I do like cookies. laugh In fact, as a funny aside, my boy just started imitating Cookie Monster scarfing down cookies, all the time when he's at the dinner table.

Johnboy you should start another thread asking people about their usernames' significance (unless thats been done already)

Good idea.

You know I did mention something about my name and a school I went to. Sigh - I suppose the truth must be told. I was out partying and fell into a swamp. While there - trying to get out - I got to know a truly oppressed group. Gators - After hanging out with them for a time - I decided to specialize in a little known area of law known as reptiles for reptiles. Hence - I am the one sole lawyer specializing in "gatorlaw". You have no idea what these guys have been put through til we started up the class action suits and federal uncivil rights cases. laugh

Hi, guys! I love ALL of your avatars, and I DO associate each of them with you and your personalities.

MY avatar, however memorable, is nothing like me. Well...my favorite color IS green! BUT...I am totally NOT a geek in the technical sense of the word. I just chose this because all of my friends are so much LESS geeky than me, that THEY all CALL me "girlgeek." I think it stems from the fact that I play alot of computer games and know how to manuever around in Windows (big deal, right?)! To some of my friends...this seems extremely geeky. LOL

PLAYING ON PC: World of Warcraft...nothing else...there is no need for ANY other game when you have THIS one to play!! LOL

Thanks for letting my know that LoneWolf32. I put it on but it doesn't look too good, it is an old picture. I think I will stick to the red ginger, at least it is symbolic of where I live.

Hawka - you might want to try cropping the photo, that way it will appear a little bigger as an avatar. Like my avatar, the original photo has my son's whole body in it as well as part of the room, I just cropped the face out.
PS I like the old photo, I bet it has a story behind it. That would be a great unique avatar.
