I'd like to be
Under the sea,
In an octopuses garden,
in the shade..

Oh wait, that was a Beatles Song, you mean where would you like to be in a 'game world'?

That's a hard one, but maybe in April's world in Longest Journey. I'd like to be able to travel back and forth between the 2 dimensions depending on my mood!

It also might be fun to visit Tex Murphy's neighborhood, and meet all the familiar characters! (but I think I'd pass on dinner at the Brew & Stew!)

I would love to be in Kate Walkers world, "Syberia." And visit the Old Automation Factory and the museum and ride the automation train with Oscar and ride through the giant automation. And walk around the remote towns and villages and watch the atoms machines do their things. Strange and fascinating and unique world.

I would like to be in EXILE in the J'nanin Age. Looks like there would be plenty to keep you busy there. Shelly

I would want to live in the Andes with the people in Journeyman Project Three. The place and the characters were so wonderful there.

My first thought was Syberia as well. But for as beautiful as that game was, it was too dreary for real life. Maybe if those places were returned to their former glory.
Next I'd say Arcadia. What a great place.
After that, Daventry.

If it's Outcast - definitely the forests of Okaar for me. I would have my own little herd of Twan-has with pockets full of hotis for them.

Have to do something about the monster in the pit though eek

I'd like to be at the large terrace restaurant near the grotto in Capri. There were many beautiful locations in this game (A Quiet Weekend In Capri).

There are quite a few worlds I might like to visit, but I don't know if I'd want to stay in any of them for good. The lack of indoor plumbing and modern medicine would get old pretty fast.

However, assuming I never had to go to the bathroom or take a shower and never got sick or injured, I think D'ni would be one of the most interesting places. We only got to see a little of it in Myst (the room where Atrus was writing). I assume we'll see more of it in Uru.

Other interesting places to visit for brief periods would be Arcadia (from TLJ), Amerzone, Neuschwanstein (GK2), Liath, Titanic (before it sinks), old China (Lotus Spring, Forbidden City, and Qin), Avalon (from the Arthur's Knights games), the various gameworlds in the 3 Cryo Atlantis games (especially old Ireland and the Arabian Nights worlds), Zork, Discworld, and the various worlds accessible through linking books from the Myst games.

The place with the best library. I wonder where that'd be.

The world of Schizm is the world Id love to explore in real life. Although I did not care for the game, probably because it was over my head even with the walkthrough.

I Baag, Therefore I Am. Update: I Don't Baag Anymore, Therefore I Ain't! Update: I'm baaging again but just a little.

I'd like to be in the forest with the chirping birds, singing crickets and fragrant flowers by Merlin's tree, my horse by my side. This is from Arthur's Knights, The Secrets of Merlin. I could go into the fairies land and back again. Maybe take a gallop every now and then smile

So would I.

I would not mind to explore the places in ROTS or Reah.

Syberia or one of Gabriel Knight's castles.

It's nice to be important but it is much more important to be nice.

I would love to be in the cabin from Nancy Drews Ghost Dogs, with the lake out front and all the animal sounds everywhere.

As for me, give me anything with water in the scenery! Be it anything from ocean waves crashing on the rocks to the inviting still water in the bay of Magnetic! Where you can walk in the smooth white sand and smell the ocean, have a tantalizing BBQ and sleep under the stars. Be it alone or with a group of friends you love........... it would 'magical'! :-)

OK I do have a passion for sea side locales. Loved the beach in Magnetic and in Exile. I would sit up by one of the tusk towers in Exile and just listen to the sounds of the waves and critters. I also loved the house nestled down where the Squee was. OK maybe if the Andes wasn;t available - that area would also do very nicely. Just need some neighbors there - otherwise it would get a little lonely. smile
