Check out the new scariest games poll summary chosen by you guys! Turn up the music, sit back and relax and enjoy the results and read the reviews. You now don't have to ask what everybody recommends for that next scary game to play. Hope you enjoy it! Bob and I put a lot of hard work into it. Here it is: Scary Games Poll

As a dyed in the wool Horror fan.... Mack and Bob, I take my hat off to you!!! Wonderful presentation, games featured are totally on the numbers!! I was ill when the nominations went up, but I would have agreed with the selections 100%. Amber has that je ne sais quoi which puts it as number one, DF is just soo spooky if you play it with the lights out.. Phant scared the pants off me but I didn't like the timed bit at the end.. I have never played shivers as my copy is corrupt apparently..(willn post in glitches bit later) I played Blackstone and first time I loved it, second time it freaked me out. I remember reading about DF and asking if it was like the old Hammer films, well it is!! As is Amber..walk round a corner then BOO!! Hugs Tig

Gelert, mine too. My boys came running across the room to see where the spooky sound was coming from. That was great, it caught the eyes and ears of my younge ones and mine as well. Great Job guys, you caught our attention. Liz

Great work, mac and Bob. Now I'll have to go out and find some of them. Just bought Realms of the Haunting, and I'm glad I did.

That number one scary game is...........(drumroll please!!!!) -
THE SCROLL!!!!!!! I heard the truly terrifying thing was Syd playing the Scroll I heard rumors to the effect that the family just dropped dinner from a stick in the room and fled while the fleeing was good - while she battled this game Laura *Who hopes Syd doesn't read this and lock Laura back in room 13 at Syd's home for nervous gamers*

Ah ha ! **** 'The Scroll' ! **** At last somebody else who thinks this is a fabulous game ! It has to be one of the finest games ever produced for the dedicated adventure gamer. What with its clean and supremely refined graphics and its oh so simple, user-friendly game design - the action icons are a pure dream to behold. Never before have I ever come across such a straightforward, easy-to-use interface. The choice of contemporary music is breathtaking and the animation of the characters during speech sets standards never before achieved in any labour of love that is an adventure game. What's more, this favourite of all 'true' gamers runs in DOS - Yes . . DOS ! What inspired genius I hear you squeal ! This means that the player need not bother with that excruciatingly irritating procedure of 'slip it in and watch it load'. How very tedious that can be ! No, with this game you can just pop it in your drive and sit back, relax for an hour or two, hang out your annual washing, or even knock together a four-course supper for five and still have time to write that novella you thought you'd never get around to, all confident in the knowledge that when you return to your keyboard you will not have missed a single moment of the rapturous plot contained within 'THE SCROLL'. * This UNreview was written by a A.Boomer 'dazed and confused' by too much BAAGing this month already ! *

Wonderful, boys! ...just wonderful. ...brought a tear to my eye....and a lump to my throat. ...especially the witches cackle. Inferno

I was merely wondering if Frankenstein was the Tim Curry adventure, and if so, why is it posted under Action-Adventure...? Must be because of the rock crushing and the way it made Gamers jump and run around their PC tearing their hair out. I got a lot of action out of that part of the game Personally for an action adventure - I think Nocturne should have made the list but maybe not many people have played it here... Laura

Hi Mac: My cat has recovered! I haven't done anything with Shivers yet past the first puzzle or two outside. I got caught up in Zanzarah. I'm hoping to get to it by this weekend, though. It sounds like a great game! Jean

Great job, Mac and Bob! Thanks! I have to say I'm surprised Inherent Evil didn't make the list.
