Maybe you just don't like Myst.
But it's not atypical to want to play a different type of game for a while. You may eventually find you get bored with RPG's and want to play an adventure instead.

I have to add Lionheart: Legacy of the Crusader (2003) to the above, it was first RPG that I liked so much that I actually played it. Fights don't have any special moves, you just choose the weapon and click your enemy to death and you can also rumble through your inventory under the pause and prepare for the next step, I've combined the sword for the close battle and magic fire for far reach. Storyline was like a good fantasy book to me.

I havent played many RPG's but Morrowind is funny. Huge and overvelming at first, but it gets better smile
My first RPG was Arcanum, and that one was difficult. But since I'm stubborn, I continued.
I'm not sure I ever replay it, but it was fun in a strange way smile
I don't recomend it as a first though.

Caroline.

I haven't lost it, I just can't find it....

Hey Aggie! Glad to hear your first semester went well. I didn't lie about not needing a jacket, did I? Funny that you've gone to the dark side...I've bounced back and forth, playing one type exclusively for a while and then the other. Happiest at the present time playing both.
