Thanks guys, I'm actually on level 4 in the tombs and doing pretty good. getting lots of stuff but I've collecting those darn jugs so I'll get rid of them. I'm a lev 6 with restoration, identify and deadly gift skills. Pretty cool

Good luck with that. I still haven't found the murderer (level 12). But there are many many quests to do, some of them far more urgent than that one.

I just joined the Thieves Guild - lost a couple of reputation points for doing that.

Long, long time before that is solved so I strongly suggest completing the quests in the village itself.
Talk to the guard, talk to the healers, especially Meth..now that you have cured him.
There is a very large area you must cover outside of the gates that involve the orcs. Don't miss one part of the that area, as several things must happen to kick the story into a higher gear.

Go get'em slick, you're doing great

I just picked that quest because when i filtered the quest, find the murderer came up first. Sooo Ingie, you're saying that I should on that and go do the orc thing? I assume that is the quest where I to find the General?

By the way, can i buy agility or stenghth skills? I have some great weapons that i can't use.

Yes, you will pick up a lot of quests in this game as you travel, but you do not really have to hurry. In fact, do not hurry..you might miss another quest or a really good item.
I think you really need to explore this area, north, south, east and west..northwest and southwest are very interesting.
Nah,you can not buy points, you have to earn them, but what a good idea.

Good luck, the Orcies are hard to kill at first, try teasing them into just one following you!

Actually, a walkthrough says you only have 10 days to solve the escort for healers quest or the quest will fail (someone else arranges the escort). About the only quest I know of that does have a time limit though.

Hi All
I took for ever to start the escort for healers quest and then raced back to do it when I read the walkthrough you did and it made not a wit of difference. I was so worried I would have to start over and lose all my hard earned good stuff but nothing went wrong. I just don't think that time limit is correct.

Perhaps a patch on the game changed it! Patches can certainly change things like that.

I happened to be going that direction any way so did the quest within a day or two (game time) of being given it.

Probably right; but it didn't bother my game at all..I nosed around everywhere and finally arrived, more like a month later..honest..

So, If I had to do it in 10 and did not; as long as it does not effect the game I'm a happy gamer.. happydance
I can't imagine with all you run in to and up to and still be able to do that in 10 days..but, I'm a slower player than most...love to check out what's in the little bush over there? Or, what is that big round thing on the ground? Wonder how that works? lol

I don't recall being able to fail that quest, but I do remember that there is one you automatically fail in the game, and nothing makes any difference. Could be that's the one. But just for info, there is one quest that you can fail if you don't do it pretty quickly. It has to do with a trader and his cart, and whether you set fire to it or not. Regarding the first thing, guess I need to play this again, it's been long enough. laugh

I finished the healer escort quest. i have 2 questions.
What is the story with the charm runes, the little colored balls. Some lady tried to sell them to me and I also found 3 of them. Are they important and good to have?

What is up with the orc war drummer dude that spins around with the colored lights?. everytime I turn around he's popping up. How do I kill him because nothing has worked so far. Thanks for the help. I'm a lvl 9 now but still no increased agility
Peace
Kim

Some armor and weapons have little Charm slots (it will say in the description Charm 1 or Charm 3 etc.) If you have the skill for charming items, you can use the little coloured balls in the charm slots. Apparently they are very very powerful. Oh, and don't use really good ones on cheap armor. Once you use it, you can't get it back.

The drummer dude heals himself (and any friends he happens to have.) So either a) you need to lead him to an area where you'll have help to kill him or b) do something to keep him from drumming. As a magic user, I cast freeze on him then started zapping.

As for agility, what you have been doing with your ability points on level up? When leveling up, you can increase agility (or any of your other basic traits.)

Every time you go up in level, you should hit the bottom left most button to choose a skill. To the right of that button is the statistics button. Every time you increase in level, you can add points to the various statistics of your character. That's where you improve agility (or strength or intellegence or vitality)
