That's what i thought Ingie but my health bar all the way up. Strange because it looked like the skeletons were kicking my behind. Guess I'm stronger than I thought. I haven't checked any of my items but how do i check for curses. Also if they have a curse do i get rid of them or is there a way to take the curse off/

One reason your health went up, is that you leveled. When you level, nice during a battle; you stats go all the way back up. You cannot change a cursed item. However, when you are not sure what something is and do not have "identify item"skill..take it to a local dealer; save, have them identify, which costs..the reason for the save; sometimes the item is a whole lot less once IDed because it is cursed. So if saved first, can go back to the saved game and just sell that nasty item as is and let the dealer worry with it. Ingie

You're doing great ..you got both pyramids now?? That's great. One of the best ways to use them right now..keep one by a bed and keep the other with you. If you're in the catacombs and want to take a haul of goodies with you, take the pyramid out of your backpack and place it on the ground...remember SAVE first...just in case it doesn't work and you go back with the stone in your backpack. Do your trading and fixing up, rest step on the stone by your bed, and blink you're back where you left off..remember to pick the stone up! SAVE again..you're off for more nosey about smash those vases and crunch those skellies..fun ahead If you need a fast escape, just double click on the one in your backpack to go back to safety. Save ... the bad guys will remain at the health you left them, but you can heal and just have find a passage back to them. If you have time, always try to drop the stone and then step on it..but if it's between doing that and dying..don't do that Ingie

And if you do drop the pyramid to use it, do *not* under any circumstances forget to put it back into your inventory before you leave the area. It is so irritating to have to go back and find it later. And never forget, he/she who fights and runs away may live to fight another day. Running from monsters will generally at least spread out the attacks a bit. Above ground, I sometimes run toward where I know some soldiers are. Might not get as much experience, but I live through the encounter. My catacombs are cleared out, thanks to deadly gift. The wizard did a better job than a previous character did, but only cause she had some scorpians to throw around.

Grabbed that pryamid and got out on the teleporter so I still have to go lv1,2,3,5. 2 questions: i can't figure out how to put on armor or change weapons. Which skills do you think are most important to get? Thanks, I am getting the hang of this slowly with everyones help

There are two buttons at the lower right of the screen that will help with this. The rightmost button is your inventory. Click to open this. The button beside that is your current equipment. Click to open this. If the windows overlap, you can move them around. The Inventory has tabs along the top. The first tab is armor, the second is weapons. Now you can pick and choose what you want and drag it to the equipment window. BTW Did you find the manual?

I found a small notepad within the game but no manual unless that is the manual. it had basic instructions on installation and a few tips on gameplay. They're the same tips that come up ont the screen when you save or load. Is there another manual cause the way I'm going I think i need a complete "Divine Divinity for Dummies" book Thanks for the help Pib Peace Kim

Kim, Did your DD game come with the Beyond Divinity? If so, your manual is on file .. check the folders or read me file. But honestly, the help you'll get from here is just as good if not better..the manual wasn't all that great. what other problems or questions are you having? Ingie

No Ingie it didn't. I got in a trade. So far I think I'm doing ok. I'm just trying to figure out how to put on weapons, see if they're cursed (which i haven't figured out how to do yet) and decide which skills to get. You and Pib have helped me a lot on these. i only have 2 skill points right now. I have a lot of gold but I don't know what to do with it. I agree with you about the help I'm getting here. It's specific, very helpful and I've been reassured that I'm not annoying anybody (so far Thanks kim
