Hi Sabre: I'm right there. I've walked back and forth a great number of times. In fact, I was in the middle of the falls and just walked into it and ended up in the alcove with the Sanity Shard (the heart-shaped red stone). I have a quick save here and have jumped all over the place and, in fact, fell a number of times off into the falls.

Chuck, when you clicked on the ant before you killed him, did it seem to want to bring you closer or did it just give you a close up view? Looking at the picture in front of me, alice is looking up at the archway, from what i can tell she's been moving from right to left in a zig zag pattern. If your in the middle of the arch then the next move should be towards the right and up some how.Do you have any potions to make her jump higher?

Thanks for the map. I made a sketch of it. But, without anything indicating the actual pathway I don't have the slightest idea how to interpret the map. I have a save at the health heart behind the falls. The WT says to exit that alcove behind the falls to the left. I tried that route a couple of times and always fell to my death. But now I know that is the actual route so I'm going back to the game and try that route, being a little more careful. See ya later.

That didn't work. No matter how careful I was, whenever I exited from behind the waterfall I fell to my death. I'm going to quit, at least for the time being. See ya later.

Hi Pokey: I do make sure the blue target point is above where I want to jump to, but I haven't been able to do a run and jump. I haven't been able to find anything in the gameplay guide explaing the "run". I've tried jumping with holding the "w" and the "space bar" down, as well as with also including the "shift key", but there doesn't seem to be any difference. The only thing I've found the shift key useful in is for Alice to walk in order to keep her from moving too fast and not stopping her to keep her from walking on over the side. If you could fill me in on how to incorporate run with the jumping I'd appreciate it. I'm going to go back and try following step by step the jumps you mentioned in your reply. Talk later.

Hey Pokey, I following your jumps and made it to the top and only found one ant to dispose of. I also disposed of the lady bug. I'm saved at the river's edge. The WT says to follow the river upstream. It appears that I have to jump over the river and follow it up on the other side to find the Mock Turtle. Thanks for your instructions. Talk later.

I've moved along to Level 12 (Wholly Morel Groung). Does anyone have any hints on staying with Mock Turtle. I stay with him pretty well, but finally make a wrong turn or bump into something and make a gasp, and then that's all she wrote, I die. I've made that trek about twenty times and seem to lose Mock Turtle at about the same-appearing area.

I finally made it. I had one finger on the W key and one on F4, and periodically, as I had the turtle in good focus I clicked the quick-save button and just kept my finger on the W key and waited a couple seconds and I automatically swam on, and then I repeated the process a number of times and, though I would lose the turtle and have to just click F1 to continue, I finally moved on to Level 13 (Dry Landing). But I now have another problem. I don't know how to swing on a rope. I jump onto the bouncy mushroom and end up hanging on a rope. The WT says to climb the rope and swing and jump onto the ledge where the rabbit is waiting. I have tried everything under the sun and can't get the rope to swing. Can you help me again?

Thanks Pokey: At least you tied it in to the fact I had to use W and/or S. I had been hitting w and then s and then w, etc., but this time I hit W and waited and then W again, and I finally got to swinging and got to the rabbit. I followed the rabbit, went onto the two fungi to the rope and swung to a ledge on the tree. Is that the correct ledge? The WT says to swing to the ledge guarded by an Ant. I didn't see an ant. Maybe I killed it earlier. Anyway, I went on the ledge around the tree counterclockwise and got to a very narrow section, made a bad move and fell to my death. I went back to my save on the fungus ready to go on the rope. I plan on going back on the ledge circumventing the tree and going in the other direction, but I'm knocking off for happy hour, and thought I'd fill you in on my progress and have you confirm or uncomfirm the ledge around the tree being the ledge where an ant once was.
