I don't think there is much advice I could give except to stay very close in the beginning. When you get to the big room with the stone pillars, you will be able to make some short cuts once you know the pathway. smile

I finally made it. I had one finger on the W key and one on F4, and periodically, as I had the turtle in good focus I clicked the quick-save button and just kept my finger on the W key and waited a couple seconds and I automatically swam on, and then I repeated the process a number of times and, though I would lose the turtle and have to just click F1 to continue, I finally moved on to Level 13 (Dry Landing). But I now have another problem. I don't know how to swing on a rope. I jump onto the bouncy mushroom and end up hanging on a rope. The WT says to climb the rope and swing and jump onto the ledge where the rabbit is waiting. I have tried everything under the sun and can't get the rope to swing. Can you help me again?

I believe you use the same keys you use for running--W and S.

Thanks Pokey: At least you tied it in to the fact I had to use W and/or S. I had been hitting w and then s and then w, etc., but this time I hit W and waited and then W again, and I finally got to swinging and got to the rabbit. I followed the rabbit, went onto the two fungi to the rope and swung to a ledge on the tree. Is that the correct ledge? The WT says to swing to the ledge guarded by an Ant. I didn't see an ant. Maybe I killed it earlier. Anyway, I went on the ledge around the tree counterclockwise and got to a very narrow section, made a bad move and fell to my death. I went back to my save on the fungus ready to go on the rope. I plan on going back on the ledge circumventing the tree and going in the other direction, but I'm knocking off for happy hour, and thought I'd fill you in on my progress and have you confirm or uncomfirm the ledge around the tree being the ledge where an ant once was.

This game is so linear that it is hard to make a mistake. I do remember a tree with a narrow ledge and a rope--I don't know about the ant. I also remember falling several times. laugh
