I'm just about to play Zork Nemesis, and have found the panning to be to fast, even in the slowest setting. I guess this is because the game was designed for much slower processors. I have heard of this program that slows down your processor speed, but I haven't found it.

Thankful for any help!

Mikael

Have you tried to slow down your video and audio acceleration?

Slowing down the video or audio acceleration may prevent crashes but it won't change the panning speed.

Inferno lists some slowdown utilities on one of her webpages.

http://home.earthlink.net/~infernoj13usa/ComputeSpecs.htm

MoSlo is for DOS

Turbo is for Windows and is free

CPU Killer works with both Windows and DOS

Throttle works a little differently from the other slowdown programs.

There are other slowdown programs you can find with a Google search.

Thank you! That's more than I was asking for!

You will definately want to use a slow down program with the game mainly because there an area in the monastery that is inaccessible without one if you have a fast CPU. We were unable to get there when we played this game, and only found out about these programs later.
