I'm trying to install the Ring on Win XP. I keep getting a message that I don't have enough room on my "C" drive, that I need 250mg. My hard drive has 66GB free, so what gives?

Are you trying to install Fellowship of the Ring? I installed it on Xp with no problem.

No, it's an older game called "Ring". It originally came out for Win 95.

It's on Inferno's XP list as working under XP.

Have you tried changing the Setup program to Windows 98 compatibility mode before running the install?

I saw that it was on Inferno's list, Jenny. I'll have to double check how I did things, but it's a bit late now; it'll have to wait until tomorrow.

I have tried it and am sorry to say that Ring does not play on XP.
