A coat would do .Those things that you put on the screen to keep the sun out ar nt much good

Man that has to look pretty funny to someone walking in and seeing that .

Dragonuk44, just an idea..if you put a bed sheet up on the blinds - it should make the room darker - and you'd be more comfortable without the blanket wrapped over you

Another solution would be to move to Scandinavia where half of the year the light is limited

Renne very good .Never thought of that one .Got comments from people who have caught me with the blanket or a coat over my head .Wonder what they would think if they saw blankets hanging up ,Could buy some thick curtains I guess .Is Scandinavia cheaper than England lol .

In Scandinavia they sell really thick window shades so they can sleep during the summer months. You might check around to see if you can find shades like that.

Daughter got a black out liner for her curtains at Walmart. Works great and it was inexpensive

I've done it many times! It does get hot, and my hair gets mussed. But, when it's too light I can't see when playing dark, spooky games. So, out comes the blanket. You do what you gotta do!

I play spooky games at night with the lights out.
If I play at daytime, I cover my windows and close my roomdoor
that I can see something in my monitor.
Never tryed a blanket, have to give it a try *lol*

I will ask about those blinds .Although I am in England tou never know
