Sorry, not Jazz and Faust.

You know how they say that when it's really hot you can cook an egg on a metallic surface? Well, not in this game. You're going to have to start a fire first.

Sorry, not Destination: Treasure Island.

I'll give a bigger hint, since I think not too many people played this game yet.

Who of the people you get to control will find the item everyone is looking for? The guy? The girl? The other guy?

Hmmm. That implies a very recent release. Dead Reefs?

lol Shany -- great clues! How'd I miss this one? I think the parrot was a great distractor clue -- pirates just naturally seemed to follow.

Thanks Becky. I think there was a discussion once on the Just Adventure forums that listed adventure games with parrots in them. The list was surprisingly long!

Shortly after posting, I stopped to think about all the games I'd played with parrots in them, and then reflected that almost all of those parrots ended up flying away in disgust--usually after the protagonist nearly killed them...

What do adventure game companies have against parrots, anyway? whistle

So, first clue:

One of the first things you may notice in this game is that our heroine has no legs.

The next thing you may notice is that she doesn't need them.

Becky tries to think of a game featuring a mermaid.

This thread has reached 25 pages yet again (it's been going for a few years now!) and therefore I'm starting a new thread, where we can continue with the current game being hinted at here.
