Hello my fellow boomies,

You probably haven't noticed that I haven't been here much but I finished all the graphics for Incident At ROANOKE. I'm in the process of putting everything together in the engine. The hardest part is yet to come, the scripting. I'm debating to go with voices or not, I tried to do a 15th century Irish accent but didn't work out too well. When I'm finished with all the scripting I'll see how big the file is, I can always add voices later. Here are a couple of pics from inside the game itself for everyone to enjoy. Hopefully it won't be too much longer before it's released.

Hmmm- that would be kind of tough!-- glad to hear your coming along-- looking forward to seeing it when it is completed-- Sure we noticed your not posting as much-- but making games is very important. grin

thanks everyone for your replies. I'll try to get by more often when I take some down time from the game.

So much is going on in my head right now, trying to finish this game isn't the half of it, I keep getting bomb-barded with ideas for the other games that I'm going to create. So I'm in the middle of scripting, and writing other stories. I like the keeping busy part, I'm not just sitting around vegtatuting so to speak. So being locked up in the house isn't a total waste.

People have asked me if this game is going to be free or commercial, it is totally free to anyone who wants to put in the time to play it. Don't worry no fighting, sea sickness or annoying puzzles to solve. The game has a good story and the game follows that story.

This game is my first attempt so you will notice a difference in styles, hopefully my second game will be much better. Well I'm off to Mixed Bag, I have a little tidbit of info for everyone there. Take care everyone. wave

Thank you for your replies everyone. I spent quite a bit of time on the game yesterday. I found myself re-vamping a few things. Worst part was when I had to remake 24 arrows and turn them into 24 objects to go around two clocks. Had to give it a rest today, had to go to the doctor for medicine, didn't sleep very good last night so a little exhausted right now.

I'll do some more work on the game tonight. I'm starting to get a handle on this programming language. Funny I finally get it just as the game is almost finished. Well it will come in handy for the next game. Well I have to go lay down before I fall down. Take care all.

Thank you everyone for your concern. Got a good night's sleep last night, up early this morning 7:30 am, had breakfast so I'm bright eyed and bushy tailed and rearing to go.

Had a little bit of a scare last night lost the adv file that I need when I load up the engine, but thankfully this engine has an automatic backup, so all's well.

I'm really looking forward to seeing how much people like this game. Plus I'm getting sick of dressing up the main character. Next game the characters are going to get dressed in DazStudios instead of dressing them up in Photoshop. Well I'm off to Mixed Bag, take care everyone.
