Thanks Knut and Marita!

I like the possible game covers. wink What is that thing on the roof? Is it my imagination, or is it shaped like an ear?

I think you're right. The ear shape may be a clue to its function.

The middle one would make a great cover, no doubt. As far as I know Lnut uses Bryce for the renderings, which is original and gives them that soecial touch. I like it.
These new screenshots has got some latin, roman quality to them, I like that too.
Hopefully the nes screen resolution will be 1024x768 and by the lookk it seems it will.
Gut getan Knut!

Latin, Roman quality? Maybe because of the tiles on the roof and the walkways, and the sense of an enclosed courtyard?

In regardes to Rhem I'M about half way through Rhem 2 and I find this game one of the hardest games I have ever played. I try not to use the walkthrough but this game is impossible to do without it. If Rhem 3 is just as hard I probably will be busy for another year.

I agree. I used a walkthrough and got lost even then. I finally just quit halfway through and unistalled the game. Guess this type of game is just not my cup of tea...

The RHEM games may not be for everyone, but for their fans they're something special. There are very few games with puzzles of this quality. They aren't meant to be easy and you need to take a lot of notes unless you are very good at remembering details.

For those getting lost in the first game, I got lost too. I would have appreciated a map that shows you where you are, like some RPG games have. However I thought it was a lot easier to find my way around in RHEM 2.

I have to agree with the previous posters about the difficulty level, they are very difficult and of high quality puzzles.

I love the Rhem games and am so looking forward to Rhem 3. The walkthrus for me are a wonderful guide like using a map in a strange place. Knut you are the greatest game maker. I hope you continue and maybe there will be a Rhem 4!

I still have Rhem I and II in my BAAGS pile but am looking forward to playing them. I always get lost even with a walkthrough and a map so I will not mind.

When I played Rhem I it was so confusing I gave it up and even unloaded the game. A couple of months later, I loaded it again and started with the walkthrough. Once I got the "hang" of it I was soooooo hooked! I was able to do Rhem II with only occasional looks at the walkthrough when I got stuck. To play this game, you have to get into a certain mindset. I found my self truely enjoying the difficulty of this game and I felt so good when I was finally able to finish it. I am sooooo looking forward to Rhem III. Too bad these can't be multiplayer games...it would be a blast to solve these with a couple of friends.

Love the Rhem games. Do i use a walkthrough? I sure do! I go as far as i can then i 'consult' the walkthrough... do i care i needed a walkthrough...NO! I like the games..lots of the puzzles puzzle me but there is just something about the games that keep me continuing. It just amazes me how someone can think that stuff up! Rhem is a great exploration game(s)...i think that is what i enjoy most...don't have to worry about leaping here/there...don't feel pressured to hurry up and do something...can just take my time, relax and enjoy. When i play Rhem i get those snacks and my tea ready beforehand..feed and let the dog out an extra long time..turn on the answering machine, set the VCR and come in here get comfy and....RHEM! Knut you twisty rascal...keep 'em coming!!!
