Hi All,
Originally I was going to ask for just one game but discovered I had a problem placing these 5 above as a best of all time so I decided to go for 5. My picks in no particular order are The Beast Within, TLJ, Black Dahlia, Moment of Silence (think I might have to duck for cover here but I loved the story and the graphics) and Syberia. Honorable mention goes to 2 of the Tex games UAKM and Pandora Directive.

Hi Ana,
I know about the recommendations list but I wanted things narrowed down to 5 all time favorites. Most of the time with the recommend list there are 15-20 games listed in no particular order and the final was just a hit total of the most selected in the entries. I was more curious about indivdual favorites and the type of games the individual members liked the most limiting it to 5 (not so much of a recommendation list but as a way of getting to know who likes what type of games).

PS the reason for my comment with TMOS was it was one of those games with no middle ground, it was either loved or hated.

Well,Barry - I love Syberia. It was my first game,and I remember being horrified about being expected to look in drawers and go through people's belongings to take stuff ! Now,of course,I take everything and anything that's not nailed down -and when it is I try to pry it up ! I like games that are fun and have alternate paths to take. Secrets of Da Vinci would be an example. Guess that's two,so I'll just add Post Mortem,Echo,and Darkfall.

An amazing game which I loved:
Indigo Prophecy an excellent story & game with a brilliantly concieved control system, but it was set too difficult (even on easy) & spoilt the enjoyment a little!

Oh Chrissie, I loved Indigo - like you I wish they had a bypass for the difficult controls so everyone could play it. If that were the case, I believe it would fast become a favorite for more people. If anyone can do with keyboard controls and lots of pounding away, you shouldn't miss it!
