I'm ashamed to say that I haven't played this since the marker hunting and I'm not up on any of the new episodes! Not even scars. so can I still play without feeling like I'm missing a huge amount (I've been playingn casual games mostly....)

WW -- here's a quick story catch up from the Myst Online site.

To get GameBoomers Hood on the Relay, you can go to www.relayercorps.org and sign the hood up or you can go to the same location and sign yourself up for the buddy relay. If we have an available relayer, we will assign them to occupied subscriber hoods but keep in mind we are very small in numbers and will do the best we can! We do have Relayers who have only the buddy lists and while I and the other Action Relayers send to them, they send everything on to the subscribers. I keep trying to recruit but it is hard going! So again.....if anyone would love to give us three days out of an episode, we would love to have you and will teach you how to link like a Bahro! Good typing skills are a definite plus here!

Actually it is more fun not knowing where someone will show up....sometimes we scramble around before we are able to locate someone and get there....that is half the fun!

So, couple of things here. If there is "action" in the storyline, we will need bodies in the hood. Assuming you can't get to where that action is, of course And please make sure, whenever you are in the Nexus, to see if the GB Hood shows on the hood list. If it doesn't, then click on Make Private and then Make Public. This should put it back on the list. If you need any help with this, just send a message to neighbors-someone will be able to cope!

Can't wait to see what is going to happen next!

Me too! But how will I know when the action starts so I can get to the hood on time? Where is the meeting place in the hood? At the fountain maybe?

I was wondering the same thing, sierramindy. Is there a certain time interval when this happens? Or is this just a random visit?

If anyone knows that there's a game character that's shown up in the city or in a neighborhood, maybe they could send a quick word to all the GameBoomers' neighbors who happen to be in MOUL at the time?

I suppose they could also post here at GameBoomers if they know something is going on -- would that make sense?

The DRC characters come in randomly so it can be hit or miss. If you are in the Nexus and see a rather large population somewhere, there most likely is a DRC member there. A lot of people have friends that pm them and let them know when they find out where a DRC member is. Just keep your eyes open and if you see people linking around like crazy then it is starting! Also if any of you, and I think there are several, who are on the buddy list as well, they will know as soon as a Relay starts and can let the others know.

I just logged in and there was a large update for the Deception episode! Of course, it won't start until the 8th, but I like to get the update out of the way before the first "real" day that the episode begins.

Thanks Becky, for the reminder. I updated both Soot's computer and mine. Took several tries with mine, but at least it is done.

I'm glad they moved the new episode to the weekend. It means I'll actually be able to be in on the action the day it starts. I have to go to my niece's gymnastics competition in the morning but I'll be around in the late afternoon.

Thanks for the heads up on the new update. I'll do that before bed tonight so I don't have to wait for it on Saturday when I'll be impatient to join the fun!

I've been in/out several times today and have not seen anything new.....lots of yakking in the Watcher's Pub...talking about whether or not you might have to wear one of the Guild Tee-shirts to enter a 'pub'...but as of yet...not seen anything new. pfuii. will wait and check back next week...maybe. Seems like might be another 'Pods' or 'Jalek' entry...

Sharper was in the Watcher's Pub tonight but I only caught the last few moments of the conversation. I'm sure someone will post a chat log on one of the URU sites. Based on what people were saying afterwards, there was no new information. From what was said, Cate indicated earlier today we're waiting for the guilds to open.

Someone also said that Phil was going on about green being good and black being bad. But apparently he was rambling so we don't know if he's been traumatized in some way. Some people think it has to do with the shirt colors of the different guilds but someone one else suggested that it might have to do with Bahro eye color. Green eyes mean a good Bahro and black mean a bad. Of course, by the time you get close enough to see their eyes, you may be out of luck!

I keep wondering about the Bahro. wondering if any attacks they might have committed were provoked in some way.... seems to me the 'body' count would be a lot higher if they were (or some were) just out and out killers.... so many explorers on the loose...???
