Just finished the game and I really enjoyed it but I have to agree with not liking the layout for starting the game. I really don't like Nancy Drew Central and there is no uninstall for it. Anyone else notice that?

So I went to the Her interactive website thinking others would have mentioned it or that there might be an uninstall there but nope, nada, zip. Am I the only one who finds this really annoying?

Nope. I got that "Nancy Drew Central" with White Wolf, and I have to say it's put me off getting any more Nancy Drews. They should have made it uninstallable. I do not need or want any kind of "game manager" on my system.

Chestnut, I really don't care for it either as I pointed out in my review.

Looney4labs,
I had seen your review but didn't realize that it doesn't uninstall with the game. I fiddled around with the computer and did some searching, did not find anything in my registry so I just manually deleted the folder only to install White Wolf and have it forced upon me again. Oh brother...

Well, I noticed that it's an opt in program that you can't opt out of it if you want to install the game so why is it even called an opt in program? GRRR.

Well thanks for reading my rant. I guess I will just manually delete it again after White Wolf. Must go solve a mystery now.

Chestnut, sorry I didn't uninstall the game so I didn't know you had to manually delete it.

I don't see this as an improvement though.

Well Looney4labs you really must have a big hard drive. I have to constantly keep making room for the new by getting rid of the old. Which pleases me to no end, as I love starting new games.

Chesnut, I do eventually uninstall games I have finished. But just not right away, especially if I'm reviewing the game. I might have to go play a part to refresh or verify something for the review.

But I always hate to unistall a game--I feel like I'm betraying an old friend lol

Oh my gosh Looney, that is exactly the way I feel also. I just can't bring myself to uninstall games I have finished especially.
So much time and effort went into each one. LOL Now I really
know I am not the only one. Thank you for making me feel so
normal after all. LOL
